Coffee in Goa

31st Oct, 2025

So I work remotely, but I finally got to meet my team in Goa. And I brought my Aeropress along to brew cup #7 for them.

This is exactly why I love the Aeropress—super portable and perfect for moments like these.

My team really enjoyed my coffee! They said it had a slight sourness with a bit of bitterness.

But I forgot to write down the measurements, but hey, they enjoyed it, and that's what counts.

Btw, up until now, I'd only been brewing for myself. This was the first time I made coffee for other people and they liked it. That felt really good!

Later that day, I made cup #8 for myself, and it turned out great too. Just the right balance of bitter and sour. Probably because I stuck to my sweet spot recipe.

While we were exploring Goa, we stopped by this food outlet and I ordered a coffee. It was sour with just a hint of bitterness.

My gut told me they were using light-roasted beans. So I checked out what they were selling, and yep—light roast.

And I grabbed a pack to experiment with once I'm back in Hyderabad.

Brewing coffee for my team in Goa was a lot of fun, and now I'm super excited to try out those light-roasted beans when I get home.
